Is DC fast charging worth it?

For road trips yes — it's the only way to keep a schedule. For daily driving it's ~3× more expensive than home charging, so most owners charge overnight and only use DCFC on trips.

Do you include charging losses?

Yes — home charging assumes ~10% loss between the wall and the battery, matching most Level 2 setups. DCFC losses are already priced into the per-kWh rate.
